APWLD joins over 600 organisations and individuals worldwide in endorsing a civil society-led Feminist Declaration to mark the 25th Anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women. Disappointed at the Political Declaration adopted this week at the one-day abbreviated session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), we spelled out our real feminist demands in this collective document, highlighting the lack of political will to address structrual barriers over the past 25 years, as well as emerging issues such as climate crisis threatening women’s human rights.
Currently endorsed by over 500 organisations worldwide, this document will keep directing advocacy efforts in the feminist movement and beyond.
