On Migrants Day, we bring you this podcast that features APWLD member Erwiana Sulistyaningsih of Kabar Bumi, an association of migrant workers based in Indonesia. Erwiana used to work as a migrant domestic worker in Hong Kong where her employer physically abused and harassed her for eight months. She tells us why she thinks the World Bank and IMF are responsible for her plight and why it’s important to build collective feminist movements to challenge this neoliberal economic model. This episode is part of a two-part special series of our feminist resistance in Bali earlier in October where we attended the 2018 Annual Meetings of World Bank and IMF.
