Podcast: Feminist Resistance against the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, Part I

In this first part of a special series, we will talk about our feminist resistance in Bali, Indonesia earlier in October where we attended the 2018 Annual Meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund. APWLD member Joan Salvador from GABRIELA women’s rights organisation in the Philippines is explaining the impacts of World Bank-IMF policies and projects on Filipino women and why she joined us in Bali to hold both institutions accountable. Joan will also talk about the Duterte administration and its violent crackdown on women human rights defenders.
