The APWLD CA FPAR programme presents a documentary about Central Asian women from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, the challenges they face, the transformations they have achieved, advocacy efforts and their outlook on the future of the women’s movement and solidarity.

The film offers a glimpse into Central Asian women’s human rights situation as they confront deeply entrenched systemic obstacles and adversities. Furthermore, it illuminates the personal experiences and the positive changes that have unfolded for women as a result of their FPAR journeys.

The documentary’s primary narration language is Russian, supplemented by interviews conducted in Kyrgyz, Uzbek, and Tajik languages. To ensure widespread accessibility, the documentary is enriched with English subtitles.
