APWLD invites feminists and activists from all across Asia and the Pacific region to register for the 4th Asia Pacific Feminist Forum (APFF)!
The Asia Pacific Feminist Forum is a three-day tri-annual event which brings together feminists, activists and Women Human Rights Defenders (WHRDs) for building our feminist analysis; strengthening our linkages and solidarities within and across feminist and women’s rights movements; and sharing our herstories and narratives of feminist resistance and alternatives.
Under the theme of Feminist World-Building: Creative Energies, Collective Journeys, the 4th APFF will be a space for Asia Pacific feminist movements to dream, build and lead critical pathways to a new feminist world. To learn more about the APFF, please see the concept note here.
Who can apply?
The APFF will bring together around 300 feminists and activists representing diverse movements from Asia and the Pacific on 12th-14th September 2024. The APFF is open to women in all their diversities, transgender and non-binary persons from our regions of all ages, who work to dismantle the interconnected systems of oppressions (e.g. patriarchy, fundamentalisms, militarism, globalisation as well as the legacy of colonialism and imperialism); and advance women’s human rights and Development Justice.
Participation in APFF is open to all feminists who are part of regional, sub-regional, national and/or local/grassroots feminist and women’s rights organisations and movements, and are located in Asia and the Pacific (The Pacific, East Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia). This includes APWLD member organisations, non-member organisations, and individuals who are part of resisting systemic oppression and hegemony. APFF will consider participation and representation of diverse feminist and women’s movements across Asia and the Pacific region.
Registration Fees:
Self-funded participants will be required to pay a registration fee of USD $100 which includes a meeting package and one (1) Solidarity Night dinner with all APFF participants. The meeting package includes lunch on all three (3) days, refreshments during break, and stationery provided by APWLD.
How to Apply:
