Deadline for Application: 17 April 2025
Join our dynamic and powerful team!
Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development (APWLD) is currently inviting WOMEN in all their diversities, including those belonging to minority and marginalised groups from APWLD member and partner organisations in Asia and the Pacific to apply for the South to South Fellowship Programme.
The selected Fellow will be expected to work remotely from their home country for a minimum period of six (6) months. The duration may be extended upon agreement. This is a paid Fellowship opportunity expected to start as early as May 2025.
The South to South Fellow will work with our committed Secretariat and membership to advance women’s human rights and women’s organising power, strengthening cross-movement solidarity to advocate for Development Justice.
Duration and Key Tasks of the South to South Fellow
The successful applicant will be hired for a period of six months. They will work closely with the Feminist Knowledge, Learning and Publications (FKLP) team and wider APWLD Secretariat members. The South to South Fellow’s main task will include the following:
- Work closely with the FKLP team in developing a public-facing catalogue and record of APWLD’s digital and/or physical publications over the past decades, in a way that can be easily used and referenced. This catalogue will contribute to building a repository of knowledge and data from Asia and the Pacific.
- Through this cataloguing process, identify older APWLD publications that can be revived, linked to a larger body of work on that issue and find creative ways to share this with members, partners and wider audiences. This will maximise the usage of older APWLD publications that are still relevant in our current context and increase engagement with these knowledge tools and resources.
- Coordinate with the Information and Communications team in effectively incorporating the public-facing publications catalogue in the new and upcoming website for audiences’ ease of access.
- Support the development of country case stories based on existing APWLD briefers and reports for the Feminist Accountability Map (FAM).
- Provide assistance and support to the FKLP team in their programme-related activities and plans.
- Assist and work closely with the FKLP Team on the distribution strategy of APWLD’s research and publications.
- Together with the FKLP team, collaborate with relevant programme teams to support the research and publications work of APWLD.
